Location: south of the Republic of Croatia.
The language spoken here is Croatian, but if you listen very carefully you will hear that there is significant usage of some modified Italian words.

The climate is Mediterranean with mild and humid winters, and hot dry summers. which are the basis for the tourism development. There are two main winds: jugo and bura. Jugo is a southern wind and it brings rain and rough see. Bura is a northern cold wind and it is characteristic for winter.

Dubrovnik is specific because it is physically separated from the rest of the Croatia. The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina divides Croatia and Dubrovacko- Neretvanska County on two parts. So, if you are traveling by car or bus to Dubrovnik from some north-west directions do not be surprised when you encounter the border police to check your documents.
